Hillary Clinton admits to being a fast talker

Yellow Kid 1896-08-23-vert-4

Sen. Hillary Clinton said she “misspoke” about sniper fire in Bosnia, according to CNN. See: Hillary swiftboated herself.

I say a lot of things — millions of words a day — so if I misspoke, that was just a misstatement,” she said.

“Millions of words a day” is a lot of words. With only 86,400 seconds in a 24 hour period, 2 million words per day would be a little more than 23 words per second, non-stop day and night.

If now she will only confess to also being a city slicker, my worst fears will have been confirmed.

A story in today’s Pittsburgh Tribune Review quotes Sen. Clinton’s explanation for her fabricated Bosnia story as, “I was sleep-deprived, and I misspoke.” This does not bode well for her ability to handle crisis phone-calls at 3 am. Nor does it explain why why she “misspoke” her Bosnia story on multiple different occasions before deniability was yanked off the table by video recordings of the event.
