The Learning Curve

New tricks for an old dog.

The one-cent Seth Godin book

Imagine buying a Seth Godin book for a penny. How is that possible?

This is how it is possible. Amazon.com used book sellers charge $3.99 for shipping,
but USPS Media Mail costs only about half that amount for a small to medium sized book.

So, the profit that makes the deal possible is in the fixed shipping charge.

Still, a penny book plus shipping is only $4.00. Not only do you save a tree by buying a used book, and save a bunch of money in the process, you can also see a book by Seth you probabaly never heard of before. It’s ten years old.

As of right now, there are two copies availbles for one cent, and one copy available for two cents.

Check it out here.
